Rainbow Mountain and Clearing Sea of Clouds

Seen at dawn on the way to Bridge Mountain. For purposes of clarity-- the actual peak called Rainbow Mountain is on the left. The peak more in the middle is Rainbow Wall, which some consider part of Rainbow Mountain and others consider a separate peak (Rainbow Wall is higher). The peak in the distance on the right is Mount Wilson, the highest sandstone peak of the Red Rocks area. Spring Mountains and Red Rock Canyon NCA, NV-- July 2012
