...on topping your altitude record! A memorable trip with a couple of summits for all, albeit not all the same ones - shame about the illnesses you had between you. I've had a few trips to big mountains compromised by illnesses - prompted me to write an article I posted on expedition medicine - and I like to think that the study behind that meant I didn't suffer any illness at all in the Andes in 2011.
Your photos are absolutely stunning - which means of course that what you were seeing was completely out of this world... it's why we put up with all the discomfort to go to places like this!
