It's called......Snow Plant and is not a fungus. It actually is a mycoparasite, which means it is a parasite on fungi. It does not contain any chlorophyll for photosynthesis but rather relies on the fungi, which sit on its roots. It's quite amazing and abundant here in Southern California. Cheers.
