The author made a comment about the Redfish shuttle boat that I thought was a bit unreasonable. It may appear to be expensive but it is totally reasonable. As of 2020 it s $19 roundtrip. Roundtrip hiking the length of the lake is about 10.2 miles. You are paying about a $1.86 per mile to not hike. I feel like that is totally fair and worth the expense. Also the shuttle is not unreliable. They have set times that they will come and pick up people on the other side. Those are guaranteed. You miss it, you wait. Thats just how it is. You may get lucky with them coming in between shuttle times if someone on the other side pays to come over. This is a business service. We should be thankful they even offer such a service to help out hikers and climbers.
