I caught this pic of a heavy retardant ship (airplane) flying low and dropping it’s load in an effort to check the fire spread which will allow ground firefighting forces to close with the blaze and contain it. Cape Labelle Fire, near Wauconda Washington.

Hi Bill, thanks for the comment. I was the ground contact for the air attack. Yeah, it was close...
