Rimpfischhorn seen in the morning from SSW. This cloud looks nice - but two hours later all mountains were stuck in clouds and we had to turn around at Nordend. (May 2005).

What does Rimp fish mean? Fishtail? a type of fish?

I don't believe in fish. But I have no idea and haven't found anything in my books. I will tell as soon as I know more.

In a german internet group they were sure that Rimpfisch means "Rindvieh" = cow !
