A bear actually routed us from this campsite along the road...go figure. The click of the bear spray safety is all it took to get him to leave the first time, but he was not afraid of us by any means prior to that. We took off for the official campground at Pocahontas after that, more for the bears safety than ours. Bears like that get into trouble for being too cordial and use to humans.
