Started with Longs - many more to climb here
A beautiful autumn day with brilliant blue skies made for great hiking and photo ops. The aspens were just about perfect.
Love Rocky Mountain National Park. So much to do. So much to see.
Only had a few hours so settled on Lily Mountain near Longs Peak. Can't wait to come back to climb Longs and other peaks.
Visited and climbed Longs Peak on this trip. Loved hearing the Elk bugling.
Hiked into Emerald Lake with my parents long ago, even before my first real summit was climbed. Quite spectacular scenery as I recall. Someday...
Spent the day in 2011, returned in 2014 for Long's Peak, and will almost certainly return several more times in the future.
Hiked up Hallett Peak and Longs Peak when I was younger, and have also done the hike to Nymph Lake / Dream Lake / Emerald Lake with my family.
Spet a whole day in the park driving, listening to rangers lectures, taking pictures of wild life and making note for a future visit that would involve serious hiking.
Spent 4 days enjoying great fall weather. Hiked to Emerald lake and Alberta Falls. Drove the ridge road on a nice sunny day. Need to cover more ground on next trip
I have visited the park just once, to climb Longs Peak after a business trip. I should return some day.
#1 favorite NP.
I grew up in Boulder, which is about and hour from Rocky and many of my first summits were in this park. I have to say it's one of the best places I've ever been. April 89 sometime was the first time I visited the park I was 4 and all I remember was a giant elk in a meadow
I'm lucky to have such a gem only 30 minutes from my house. I can explore when all the tourists are gone!
Amazing park. Had a nice hike among the lakes and a nice ride on the highest continuously paved road in north america.
Third time to Rocky Mtn Natl Park, and it never disappoints! We Hiked through the lakes region this time. Next time I visit, I will hike Longs Peak, promise!
Been going for years. Winter is by far my favorite time to hit the peaks there.
First trip here with N. Lord and B. Lange...several times since with others...Wild Basin, Longs, T.R.R. etc...
Hands down one of the most inspiring places in the country. I can't count the number of trips I've made here.
Can't wait to climb Longs!
