Rocky Peak and Vermilion Peak

Looking southwest from the summit of Indian Peak to Rocky Peak (left) and Vermilion Peak (right). From this point its a rugged mile to Rocky. To reach Vermilion one can go over Rocky and ring the Snowslide basin or head west and drop down into Snowslide basin on a trail, then hike up the ridge at right center and connect to the mountain. Each way has advantages and disadvantages. July 2007
