Rotmoosjoch and Scheiberkogel

The Rotmoosjoch (3055m) and the Scheiberkogel (3135m) (46.808, 11.057) from the Zwickauerhütte (2980m). The glacier in front is the Planferner. On the left, part of the east ridge of the Rotmooskogel. The Rotmoosjoch is a high pass leading to Obergurgl, on the Austrian side of the border. From the pass, it's an easy scramble up the Scheiberkogel. The coordinates are those from the hut. 8 July 2008.
