Re: Wooooooooooow...That days I was walking fast. I was more than a bit concerned with the weather. Those cloud formations were really ominous and it was clear a big old mother of a storm was approaching. It hit and the next day climbing (Ojos del Salado) was one of the most intense of my life.

Weather with you...You seem to have a neck for photographing strange cloud patterns. Or do they follow you?

Re: Weather with you...That day I encountered some of the strangest I've ever seen and they changed so fast all the time.
They follow me I think.

Here's another strange formation.

WOW!!!That one cloud looks like an upside-down mountain. Instead of hiking fast that day, I think I would have been on my knees praying for forgiveness.

Re: WOW!!!:-)
Yes, the cloud formations were scary.
Combined with the violent ice cold wind squalls it created a doomsday atmosphere.

Re: Meteorology lessonThanks for the comment John.
Your teacher would've been in paradise that day if he had seen all those clouds.
