Nice to see...

some details about this trail. I thought this 'trail' (to use the term loosely) was more like bushwhacking without actually bushwhacking. Only trail I've been on in recent memory where I actually NEEDED a map and compass and fine tune my route-finding, topo reading.
Definitely NOT a trail for the noviced hiker.

Perhaps most understand

An alternative route, that may take some hikers less time is through Chicago Basin to Twin Thumbs Pass, then westward through the Peak 12-Eolus saddle. Besides Twin thumbs, the route is not technical nor that strenuous (in comparison). I like that way better for the up , then go out through Ruby.
