Hiked with Chris (my wife). Gorgeous day with a few high clouds. Short & mellow.
Up the trail just in time to see the sunset
I slept overnight at Key’s View as the weather changed from hot and sunny to cold and windy. After a 35 minute hike to the summit I descended and had a lot of fun in the Hall of Horrors (if I weighed thirty pounds more I would not have fit through one notable crack) before the rain swept in and gave the desert some much needed rain.
Caught the last rays of a fading day as a cold wind began to blow
Enjoyed a run to the top and back down.
Sunset hike with my son Ryan. We had to do this one...for obvious reasons.
Went with a group of co-workers. Right out of the car, we saw a herd of about 10-12 bighorn just hanging out near the parking lot! The hike was quite enjoyable as well. Lots of views of the high desert in every direction.
Pretty stoked to see bighorn up close!
Climbed it on a hiking trip with a group from northern VA.
Hot temps, but the wind saved us. Carried my 1 year old daughter on my back. This is my kind of hike, short and steep.
Hiked this with my wife after a day of climbing. Not real sure of the date though...
Relaxing hike on a windy day - at least the trail was empty. Climbed hard for 4 days straight and needed a break - did only 2 routes that morning (Spiderman and Colorado Crack) and then went for a hike and nice dinner at J-tree…
Great views from the summit. Had it to myself since it was very windy.
A large herd of Bighorn Sheep was on/near Saddle Rocks. In all my years of rock climbing in JT, I had never seen one.
Nice day with Denice.
Short and fun hike. Great views of Joshua Tree National Park and the surrounding desert.
This was my first actual summit. I hiked it with the boy scouts and I plan on doing it again. Great hike for little kids.
Hiked it with friends for a late birthday celebration.
Short hike with plenty of great views. Took the normal route.
First peak after ACL reconstruction. With Rahil & Mohi.
