SAMSON & DELILAH ??

SAMSON & DELILAH ??

"Oh my my ... Delilah!!" (Samson's the one with the beard.) This is something you look at, then wonder if it's real. I don't want to be anywhere near Fern Canyon when this thing surrenders to gravity. It was an amusing balancing act to watch, as I ate my P&J sandwich, and contemplated just how much time it actually took Ma Nature to carve this thing, and how FAST the lower part of my body could move if the huge rock decided to FALL! Doubly awesome!! ~ Photo from the bowells of Fern Canyon in Nevada's Red Rocks ~ March 10,2008

P & J

What is a P&J sandwich? Is it peanutbutter and jelly? I prefer a BLT myself.

Re: P & J

Yes, you are very right and have a valid point. I was just adding a bit of humor to the dark shadows of cyberspace. BLT is one of my favorites, also! Have you ever heard of Snickers bars? I have been away from Europe for too long!!! I need to visit some European cities and mountains, and find out what people are feeling in regards to the world. I have been living in the desert for 15 years. I need to spread my wings and fly... (Best of luck, Stephen!!!) -Larry :)

Re: P & J

A Snickers. I remember when it was called a Marathon. You know the chip shops over here can do you a deep fried mars, snickers or bounty bar. Haven't tried it but it is supposed to be quite nice.
Take care Larry.

Re: P & J

That sounds YUMMY!!! Do the women in your country have a fondness for chocolate bars?
I bet they do. Stephen, where I am right NOW, there is a Mars Chocolate factory! I am not kidding! I hear that business is BOOMING at the chocolate factory, while the rest of the US economy is falling like a stone. What are you doing on your computer? I thought you would be OUT and ABOUT; painting the town GREEN. Take Care, Stephen! :)))

Re: P & J

Oh! they women LOOOOOVE that chocolate. St Paddy's day aint really my thing, I'm more for St Andrews day. I think the economy everywhere is on the brink. It's teetering on the edge here too, although the Labour party spinning the idea that were all rich and that it's okay to spend spend spend (especially those stupid credit cards) is going to come back and bite them and the whole country in the bum. Could we be witnessing the potential collapse of Capitalism???
Take it easy Larry

Re: Total agreement

with what you're saying! All right, man!
The warning signs were there, but nobody listened ... When I see these motor-cars going by, I can't believe it!!! Everybody is supposed to be CARPOOLING, but NOT! It makes me get a stomach upset when I think about it. I will have wine and cheese! :)

Re: Total agreement

Think I may pour myself a wee whisky now that you mention it, although the government just put the price of that up 55p. I read that their 4p hike on each pint of lager/beer will bring them in an extra 50million this year. Doubt my salary rise will do anything like that!

As Chris Rock said, you don't pay taxes, they just take them.
