"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Triad of mountainsIn conjunction with Point 11,323 & Black Face. Solid day, fantastic weather and a new job to boot! Kinda surprised I saw no wildlife (bears) considering how much time I spent trekking cross-country.

Challenging due to snow conditionsSnow on the trail made it complicated, but we reached the base of the summit with less snow and gorgeous views. I went under a cliff band and up to the ridge between the two summits, staying closer to the east summit. We reached the true summit with perfect weather. Bagged Peak 11,302 on the way down. Blackface had too much snow.

San Bernardo MountainStarted at 7:20 am. was on the summit by 9:40 am. Twenty years prior to this, in July of 1994 I had climbed the nearby Black Face Mountain which shares part of the trail with San Bernardo. Was good to see the area again after 20 years.
