Shelf System

Looking west, this is a view of the shelf system bypassing much of the ridge crest between Hayden and East Hayden. Actually, this is about the end of it. Beyond this point, you run into sheer cliffs. So instead, climb up (Class 3-4) from here to reach easier terrain. If you are seeing this view, it is likely that you are on your way back west after summitting Hayden and then East Hayden.
