Good page, 10/10, however why Rutherfordton? How about directions from a larger city, or from I-40? Just a thought to improve the page. People will have to take the extra step to look up the location of Rutherfordton. Naming a major road or larger city will save them a step. Still - great work!
Thank god that this beautiful area will never be the site of a condominium complex. Great page and wonderful photos, it would have been a real tragedy to loose this. I'm with you, hope that road never gets built but it sure could have been a whole lot worse. Good job!
Yep. I can't wait to get a look at the portion they call "Edge of the World". It's in the cove above the private park called "Bottomless Pools" that you can get into for a $3 fee. They say that in the new public lands above Bottomless Pools are some great groves of older trees and a number of very impressive waterfalls.

Yep.You're right.
I was thinking of using the same directions I gave for Hickory Nut Gorge, which has access from I-85 and I-26.
