Sichuan Earthquake

Just inside of the Changping Bridge, many shack gathered. At that place, an old woman did the washing with freezing water. These shabby shacks contrasted strikingly with the white big hotel at right hand side of background what is a ferroconcrete building and not suffered the damage by the earthquake. January, 2009.

All the contrast!!

Same in my country... really poor people living at side of luxurious hotels. While some walk around 6 km to find water to drink... many waste water just to clean fancy cars.

By the wishful thinking, the gap of the life level may the source of the progress. However environmental disruption is a big probrem.
