Sierra Mousetail

Sierra Mousetail

This tiny delicate flower is a Sierra Mousetail (Ivesia santolinoides) which gets its name from the long, narrow fuzzy green leaves at the base of the plant. Photo taken on the trail to the summit of Mt Hoffmann in Yosemite National Park, Aug 9, 2010.
