Signpost at the Topalihütte

These signs do not show everything. Three trails join at the Topalihütte itself, but there is another junction just a few hundred meters south. One of the trails at that southern junction does indeed continue to Guggiberg and shortly after that to the choice between descending to Randa or Herbriggen in the Mattertal. However, what these signs do not show is the fine route over the Schöllijoch to the Turtmannhötte, with possible side trips to the Barrhörner and Schöllihorn, which is where the other trail at the southern junction leads to.
