Skagit River Valley from Sourdough, late afternoon. Taken with my first digital camera, a small Nikon Coolpix 880. As a pocket camera it was terrific for hiking. It beat slinging a my old cheap 1983 Pentax 35mm with several lenses over my neck or packing it away and puilling it out everytime I wanted to take a photo. But the image quality suffers from the early vintage of the digital camera (c.2001). I lost the Nikon camera at O'Hare airport in July 2006.
