Wonderful report. I am glad you did not need surgery. This was a quite valuable TR to me, as I learned I am not yet ready to tackle this climb, tha looked so inviting! I am going to GNP this July (2010).
Loose rocks are always a hazard. Just try to anticipate potential problems and let someone know your climbing plans. Have a great trip to GNP...I'm hoping to get back sometime later in the summer.
