Soft Steep June Snow

After leaving my skis at the low point in the ridge, I hoofed up to the summit through quite soft snow without the pleasure of axe or crampons, made for a couple of tense moments. The descent was nearly as awkward through the steep section between rock walls. 1 Jun 2016
