Some people get nice weather...

Some people get nice weather on Goat mtn but this is what we had to deal with, typical western washington sunshine. Here, Bill is moving up from the south summit on the way the middle and north summits. No views, nada. Even with the raingear, we were still pretty soaked by the time we got back to the vehicle. 9-19-03

Well, actually, this is part and parcel of normally hiking on the west side. I had no view on Mt. Hood, no view on Mt. Bolivar or Brandy Peak (so. Oregon), no view on Mt. Rose in Nevada, no view....... well, you know how it goes. You takes the good wit da bad. But in my way of looking at it, any time you get into the mountains, even the bad is good.
