No cowgirl hat, but I am sure I had some normal hat on. It was so cold. I was on a dirt road (I slept in the car just a few miles away from this spot). I love exploring dirt roads in the wilderness....maybe looking for a place to retire? hmmm....

For some, a horse pasture is a GREAT place to
retire, and I'm talking about for more than
one night.

However, I would want the grass to be greener!

I think that it is greener in the summer... what's wrong with horse pastures? it could be a great place to retire - haha

You are right - the horse is not alone, perhaps we identify with the horse (I almost feel like I own him). The field was huge....Thanks for the comment and citation.
