Southwest of Tristennöckl, the raging Tristenbach is in the process of carving out a canyon

It's still a small one, but without the footbridge on which I'm standing to take this picture, it would be a serious obstacle, and I would have to make a detour to cross the stream a whole lot lower down. 1 August 2014.
