Lungwort (Pulmonaria officinalis) is rare in the Low Beskid. It is a perennial from the family Boraginaceae. It can be found is deciduous forests, thickets and by mountain streams. The flowers appear from March to June. They are initially pink when they first open, then fade to shades of purple. Lungwort's flowers appear before the leaves. The plant is considered to be a medicinal herb. The Low Beskid - Dukla - April 01, 2017.
