Berg Lake is simply incredible. You must come back one day and spend a few days roaming the gorgeous trails around the Berg Lake area. You will not be sorry. We had a big snow year this year in the Rockies, so I am not surprised by the snow pack. Next time come back in late June or the height of summer.
