Steep curving wet steps inside Arch Rock

Alum Cave Bluff Trail At 1.3 miles from the trail head, you encounter Arch Rock, a huge natural black slate arch. Using the cables is mandatory when the steps are wet! My son was concerned that I stopped to take this picture while walking down the steps! Great Smoky Mountains National Park November 6, 2013
