Yes ...I was going to say, it looks more like an
"expedition" than a simple day hike.
That's the north face on the right side? It
looks like it's extremely close to vertical.
There must be rockfall coming down that face.
(That's way "too cool" to visit in person.)

Re: Yes ...Thanks for you opinion Larry! We took the gondola from Zermatt to Schwartzee Lake then "day hiked" up to the hut! Really great day with a view of the Matterhorn nearly all the way up!! No exposure, great snow, ramps and stairs..... WOW! And looking up at the north face was QUITE impressive! Going any further would have been an expedition.
