Stone-Faced Mummy On The Rise
My interpretation of this sandstone formation was a "Mummy's Head."
Of course, I tend to view things a bit differently. Actually, this
is a stone tower "highpoint" of sorts on the south side of Courthouse Butte in central Arizona, near the Village of Oak Creek.
If this had been a real Mummy, I'd have to run home to my Mummy!
The trees in the foreground were loaded with Juniper berries. Juniper berries
are used for making an alcoholic beverage called gin.
In his younger years, this Mummy was probably making love to his tonic and gin!
