I just had a chance to visit 7 more of utah's prominence peaks and one that has more than its share of solitude is Land's End near Canyonlands. 120 miles of dirt road (roundtrip) and there is a ranger station 45 miles up the dirt road where the rangers noted that my son in law and I were the first people to have been by there in 5 days. That seemed amazing to us since it was the 4th of July weekend.
