Sugarloaf through the Grass

From the Northern Peaks Trail in Sugarloaf Mountain Park there is a small opening with which to view the northern side of Sugarloaf Mountain. The mountain is viewed through the trees, but the ridge line running north from the summit is a more open and direct view. The gold colored grass and green mountain laurel were quite colorful on this early spring day. (March 22, 2008)
