Mount Sir Alexander had another surprise: the summit ridge is a knife-edge that only a mouse can walk on. My crampon and boot tracks are on the left. Looking SW.

Knife Edge Ridge

Best in full size to see the tracks.
Looking SW so you came up at the far end and came along to this spot. Well done.

I can now see why people have turned around at the start of the ridge. We tried twice in the winter with snowmobiles but never even got onto the mountain. This summit ridge with soft snow would have turned us back anyway.
