A small pocket of sun rays break through the cloud. On the ENE ridge of Sgorr Bhan looking east back towards Glencoe. 21/09/2008.

Very interesting ...

If you were (to say) in the extraordinary
WAY of being struck by a ray of sun,
you would exclaim: "What a cracking day!!!!"

But, you would STILL see all the clouds
gathering around you, like young lions
(or gargoyles) out for their first piece of
meat.

"Oh-oh, tricked again! You can't have your
pudding if you don't eat your MEAT!!!"

All-in-all, it's just another brick in the
Wall. [Have a cracking day, Stephen!!!]

This picture is typical of my luck weather wise this year Larry. I don't think I've had a proper summit view since May. It always seems to be a beautiful morning until I near the summit, then it clouds over until I begin my descent. Unbeleivable.

Still it's good practice for my navigation skills.
