Dude!-It's probably not Mt. Morrison. Mt. Morrison is too tiny to get a picture like this from Summit Lake. I'm betting you're looking at one of the larger mountains between Evans and the front range foothills, probably Squaw Peak and Chief Mountain.

In the "original" photo you can see the radio towers that "I" think are the same as Morrison.. your thoughts?

If you look at the photo as big as possible, you'll see some foothills over to the left. Mount Morrison just recently had its tower on the summit removed, too (I need to update the page with that info).
Also, if you look at Mount Morrison from the west, the two-humped summit portion should be on the RIGHT, whereas in your picture, the two summits are on the left.
Here is a photo of the mountain from the east to compare to: Mount Morrison
Mount Morrison is at 7881 feet. Summit Lake is at 12,000 feet. Squaw Mountain is around 11,500, and Chief Mountain is 11,700. It seems more likely at those heights, your picture (striking, by the way) would depict one of those mountains.
I'm guessing Squaw is the flat portion on the right, and the pointed summit is Chief.
But without more visual detail, I could be wrong, and I've been wrong before. It may be another summit, depending on how much zoom you used to shoot the photo. But it's got to be significant in height, because Mt. Morrison from Summit Lake is barely distinguishable unless one has a sharp eye. The mountain (foothill) isn't tall enough to break the horizon line and falls far short of that. I wouldn't be making my case if I hadn't seen the view countless times.
Mount Morrison looks almost exactly the same from Mount Evans, only REVERSED, as in a mirror.
I'll hopefully be doing some climbing on Mount Evans this coming Labor Day. If I remember (maybe you can remind me), I'll shoot a photo to illustrate what I mean and send it to you.
Squaw would be to the north, a bit left of Mount Morrison in the view. But right now, so is the sun.

Re: Dude!-Thinking of it more I believe your right Aaron, Good job hombre!. I changed the caption just in case. I just thought it was a pretty photo that I forgot I had (was from when Chef007 and I climbed there last fourth of july 2005. Thank you for the input on the matter as well!
