I don't know whether it's the light, the clouds, or the mystique of the place, but I find this picture very evocative. Too bad for the lens flare left of center. Have you tried red-eye reduction techniques to get rid of it? It's a great picture anyway, and congratulations for your ascent of one of the great classic routes.
I don't try "red-eye" reduction, but i will. Thx for the tip.
This could be one.
Incredible. There are no words to express. Thanks for posting!
Congratulations, you've got a very magic atmosphere, just during the beautiful moment of the day.
How did you spend the night on the wall?
Simply stunning !
Which camera you use?
this picture was taken by a Olympus C-350.
This is one of the most astounding photographs I have seen on this site!!
I have read quite a lot about the Eiger Nordwand. I think about this climb of yours with a great esteem! Honestly! Even to imagine an occasional bad situation up there far from any kind of help...huh man...scary!
In august 2006 we met a few dudes on the tracks under the North Face, and they talked about some Nordwand climbers they had just seen. They said to be people carved of granite!!!
Very impressive description. :) And can be easily.
Congratulation once more!
and very nice!
Thanks for sharing.
Best regards, mehrdad.
