Many winters (including 2006/07) I spend the winters sailing in the Atlantic/Caribbean. This was a sunset off the boat on the banks of the Bahamas off Long Island

Awesome photo!

Did you by any chance experience sand flies on Exuma after the sun went down...and the wind died? My father informed me that the military nicknamed them "iron jaws". Found that important fact out too late at a dive resort on Andros Island. :)

gee I never even noticed!! It is the winch on the sailboat. Wished I was there now.
