Ever since last spring I've been using my Nikon D3100, and I must say, I find it's a great camera!!! I've taken thousands of photos with it meanwhile...I've also been traveling a lot, in Italy, in Hungary, in Saxony, in West Austria, and of course in my two neighboring areas, Salzkammergut and Berchtesgadener Land...At first I had bought it because of that photo workshop near Attersee that I wanted to take part in (you remember, that panorama photo I had stitched together?); my colleague had told me it would be much more worthwhile with an SLR camera and as the instructor specializes on Nikon, it would be best to have a Nikon camera with me - but now I see that it was really a very worthwhile investment that I made! Sometime later on, if I ever have that much extra money to spend, I'd also like to get one of the Canon EOS cameras, just to see the difference. I've heard that Canon lays particular emphasis on the lens, which, in the end, is the most important thing...!
