First Klettersteig
This was my first klettersteig, and was a nice consolation since I had bad weather in Zermatt earlier in the week. The views were great, and the route was a lot of fun. Next time I'll find something with more sustained exposure. I wish we had something like this in Colorado. It took me little more than 4hrs including lunch.

fine day
it is a fine route in greeat landscape with views to Sustenhorn nd the Bernese alps. Exposed but not too difficult, so it was pure fun.
I think is was my first experience of Klettersteig and was thoroughly enjoyable, not too taxing on the arms and legs that some of the longer routes can be. Fairly long walk in and off I sem to remember though.
We climbed for the second time, the last time two years earlier.
It is a long and dramatic route. Passing over the first pegs we were glad to get climbing after a week waiting for the weather to break in Grindlewald. It was a long day, and with no large views, appart from Dietmar and Nigel coming into and out of view in the mist.
Never the less, light snow and damp slippery ladders, we made it.
