Before the blue shoes,...

we had red shoes. I think these were called "PAs" unless these are something else. I had a pair of those as well. They had smooth but stiff soles. When I bought my blue shoes "EBs" my climbing level went up by a number grade.

Yes Marc, those are PAs. If only we had the stealth rubber soles back then.
