Take this road

When you see this sign, you need to take the FS 188 road and cross a cattle grate. The road drops downhill and within a short time crosses a bridge. From there on, the road deteriorates and high clearance 4WD would be my recommendation. If it has rained recently or there is still snow higher up, I would come back another day. The road was severely rutted in some places and there were several places where small streams ran across the road (on Aug 15th).
