Tarmanova Kloma

Tarmanova Kloma

Driving down by the road from Vršič pass into Trenta valley, we are approaching Na Logu. In front of us there's a big heap of rocks, called Ozebnik. The mountain is cut by a deep gorge, called Tarmanova Kloma (probably comes from the German word "Klamm"=gorge). That must be an intriguing place. Not much is heard about the possibility of canyonering, perhaps the gorge is too hard to pass. It could be read that after Čedca waterfall above Jezersko (Kamnik & Savinja Alps) collapsed, the waterfall in Tarmanova Kloma is now the highest one in Slovenia.
