whose name I am always confused by, since the register for lichtenberg mountain is on the peak behind us.....very odd....

Part of Lichtenberg Mtn

I think this is just considered part of Licthenberg. The other comment I made implied that the summit was visible from the lake, but like many other mountain views, we call a mountain by its name even when we can't see the summit. The true summit is probably higher than this peak, according to the topo, right? I don't see a 5840 contour for this peak, but it is visible for the 5844 summit.
