The Black Canyon's steepness...
The Black Canyon's steepness can be seen from Exclamation Point along the North Vista Trail. The north rim is on the left and the south rim is on the right. The vertical drop in this area is nearly 2,000 feet. This picture was taken between Exclamation Point and the summit.
