The easiest ascent/descent route on Twin Owls is a deep chimney on the north side of the rock called The Bowels of the Owls. Experienced rock climbers can climb this unroped, but beginners will probably want a rope to get up, and down, around the chockstone at the top of the chimney.
This route usually fills with some snow and ice during the winter months.
