The end of the dirt road

The GC-652 to the village of Surrueda is a fine, surfaced road. But past the central square it's a dirt road, and it gets rougher the further you go. Unless you've got a 4x4, if you've come all the way to this point you have come too far.
On our first visit we parked some 100m earlier, because the road looked too rough further on. And even then we had a really hard time getting back to civilisation. The main problem was we had to drive steeply uphill on loose dirt that made our tires spin, and to complicate matters we had to swerve to avoid the biggest potholes and some rough boulders on the track. We only succeeded on our third try.
So, if you come to visit the rock climbing area at Sorrueda, don't drive down too far, but stop at the goat farm:
