Around the corner?great shot, its always exciting coming off an airy traverse like that and wondering how hard the moves up the wall around the corner are going to be! The pro looks bomb proof though!

Re: Around the corner?You're right about the pro, it is very solid. Therefore this isn't the crux anymore, it just airy. I can imagine how exiciting it must have been for the first climbers to take this traverse. I think it was kind of a point of no return.

You photos bring back so many memories! Allot of climbers use to climb this route back in the late sixties and seventies as one of the preparations in climbing the Eiger North Face. I did the route several times in '72 in good and bad weather and in winter.
