small worldGlad you liked the Kili Patches! Small world- I knew we were there at the same time, but I happened to run into the guy in the lower right of the picture at the airport in Nairobi! We had a few beers together waiting for our plane back to New York- we were on the same flight. I don't recall his name but do remember he was a medical student from Boston who did some medical training while in Africa before the climb. Small world.

We teamed up at the Jacaranda hotel in Arusha - he was travelling alone and it so happened he'd booked the Kili climb and subsequent safari on the same dates so it all worked out quite well! BTW Kilimanjaro1 that's me at the LHS of the pic. The little fella on my left is the guy that supported me all the way down the mountain to Kibo huts after my legs gave out on the descent!
