The general view of the Lämmerfels, from the Lämmerteich valley ...
Hello to all the hikers and the climbers, all around the world ! This other picture of the Lämmerfels was taken from the Lämmerteich valley. This deep valley is the one, which is directly situated at the north of the rocky-formation of the Lämmerfels. From left of right, you can know the different parts of the site, which are naming so exactly : Bockturm, Hirtenfels, Theoturm Ostgrat, Theoturm, and finally, Himmelsleiter ! To know absolutely ! On the over-right corner of this picture, you can see two climbers who have succeed to reach the top of the Himmelsleiter ! Very impressive ... With a general height of almost 50 meters, is the Lämmerfels considerated like one of the highest palatinate-rocks ! Great job ... You have here a general view of the site, which is showing you the northern part of the rocky formation. This side is wildest, compared with the southern part ! The vegetation is bigger, stronger here : the ferns are very numerous, the brambles and the nettles are doing the same ! Caution with the ticks, although ... But, for going easy enough on the top of the rock, there's a good marked path, which is passing along the northern side of the rock ! Still good to know : the southern walls are higher than the northern side. The Bockturm south-walls are reaching a total height of almost 70 meters ! It seems to be a record in the Dahn-country ! Excellent well done, my dear.
